I find it interesting to see how mobile games are becoming more of a part of mainstream pop culture. I heard recently that Draw Something the drawing game owned by Zynga was going to become a gameshow. There was a few parties interested in taking the game and putting it on tv in the form of a game show and in the end CBS won the bid and bought the rights. There is no doubt that brands that gain success as a result of the app store are intellectual properties that people want to invest in.[Source]
Our partners Monkube in Belgium have released an updated version of their first game 6th Planet. Available on Apple's App store now, this game is a fusion of a great arcade game with a full blown comic book.
The game has been launched with sixty levels, ten worlds full of challenging obstacles, hidden levels if you're good at the gameplay part and master levels for the guy who's done with the story mode and still can't stop playing.
6th Planet features a full ten track ambient soundtrack by renowned artists also heard on the hit game Osmos (buy it, by the way) and a comic book story created in cooperation with Vivifilm. Vivi-who? They're an animated movie production company with two Oscar nominations on their impressive resume.
The game has an awesome story and is a fantastic game. Check out the game on itunes.
